New England Sports Museum

In addition to its historic and cultural charms, Boston is one of America’s great sports cities. The best way to get a sense of Boston’s amazing sports past and present is to visit the TD Banknorth Garden and the New England Sports Museum.

The Sports Museum houses one of the finest collections of sports artifacts, artwork, media, and photography in North America. Included in the collections are a nineteenth century women’s basketball uniform, four decades of memorabilia from U.S. Olympic medal winning hockey, souvenirs from fifty years of Celtics tradition, and eighty years of Boston Bruins memories. Exhibits celebrate a century of Red Sox baseball and the New England Patriots championship seasons as well as the Special Olympics, amateur, and college sports.
