I have had the honor and privilege of working along side Charissa for more than 10 years now in just about any capacity needed. I taught myself HTML back in 1996 so I could start building websites for her. I've watched her grow and I am constantly amazed and inspired watching her negotiate (trust me, you want her on YOUR side when she is negotiating) or assist buyers and sellers. I have a very unique perspective into the whole process, and, to be frank, I am shocked watching other agents sometimes. I am very spoiled by how Charissa works. I've never seen anyone so thorough and so compassionate. She really gives more than anyone I've met.
It is that feeling that inspires me to work on building these websites. I want the image that I create for her to represent her amazing experience, and her astonishing skills. It probably sounds a bit clichéd. There are few relationships in which spouses can work side-by-side for so long and not only get along, but truly enjoy working together.
She still wants me to get my license and join her formally, but I am quite content to run this aspect of the business. I get to use my years of art classes and my inherent love of the technical and geeky things. How many can say that their muse is always there beside them? Plus, I get to take care of our daughter while mommy is out on showings and I wouldn't give that up for anything.
